*Part two of Motorcycle Trials, Bear Valley* Motorcycle Trials is a popular sport internationally, and is rapidly gaining riders and fans in the US. Rather than being a speed competition, trials is a demonstration of skill, balance, and extreme courage when you see some of the obstacles the riders attempt to clear (usually from a dead stop). Making skilled use of a lightweight motocross bike designed for standing while riding (hence, no seat), riders compete to clean sections and maintain the lowest point score, such as in golf. Beginners and experts ride on the same course, following different split paths, and spectators are welcome to stand right near the sidelines to cheer on their favorite riders. If you like strategy spliced with a healthy dose of gravity defiance, this motorized sport might just be for you. You'll be amazed to see how these bikes can go just about anywhere! This is a very amateur production, but I planned, shot, and edited it all by myself - features some talented riders, plus an interview with Mandy and Adrian Lewis, the owners of Lewisport USA (www . lewisportusa . com)...after an exhausting weekend of riding, they still were kind enough to tell us a little about the sport (mind the audio glitches, this was made on no budget!...also, video quality reduced for the web, and yes, that's the song from Quake 2...hey, I needed something free!!) Filmed on location in Bear Valley, CA. This program was originally aired on Calaveras County Public Access TV ...
